Dakar, Senegal – 6 March 2024 – As part of the Sangomar project, ELTON Oil Company and MODEC SENEGAL SASU have signed an agreement for the supply of fuel bunkering services to the FPSO Léopold Sédar Senghor (LSS). The agreement follows the Diesel Bunkering tender won by ELTON for the supply of marine gasoil to the FPSO and to all of MODEC's supply vessels. It is the result of the efficient and effective implementation of the local content policy drawn up by the State of Senegal. This strategic partnership between ELTON, a local leader in petroleum product distribution, and MODEC, a global benchmark in oil production, reflects both companies' commitment to contributing to the development of Senegal's oil and gas resources. At the signing ceremony, M. Babacar TALL, Chief Executive Officer of ELTON Oil Company, said: “ This contract is a major step for ELTON and a fine opportunity to contribute to the development of Senegal's oil and gas sector.
